OPEN HOUSE AND PRIVATE
TREATY SALE TO FEATURE RECORD NUMBER OF RARE BRITISH WHITE CATTLE.
Once on the rare breeds list with only a few hundred in existence,
British Whites are making a comeback at Bohaty's British Whites in
Nebraska.
A Record number of
Rare British White Cattle, for centuries prized by English Royalty, will
be on display near Bellwood, Nebraska at the Open House and Private
Treaty Sale on the Walter & Nancy Bohaty farm. The event is
scheduled for February 10 & 11, 2001, 9AM to 5PM each day at the
farm. Refreshments will be served.
With over 150 British Whites on display, it is believed this will
be the largest number ever assembled for public viewing at one event.
Included in the display and
for sale by private treaty will be a hand picked group of approximately
30 of our Yearling Bulls and Open Females.

House and Private Treaty Sale available online at:

British White Cattle are a
specially bred animal that is easy keeping, easy calving, and very
gentle. They consistently produce a calf every 12 months, and milk
heavily enough to take care of and feed their calves on their own.
British Whites are known to have hard black hooves and disease
resistance to give great longevity. Owners also believe British
Whites are uniquely beautiful with their black ears, eyes, and muzzle.
British Whites with their
beauty, gentle nature and easy keeping ability make them perfect for the
small or hobby farmer. They also excel through the feedlot and in head
to head competition with other breeds. Carcass results from our last 2
years of fed steers and heifers on the Nebraska Corn-Fed Beef Program
showed that 80 to 90 percent graded Choice and Prime on pens of 35 to 45
head of pure bred and cross bred British Whites. Packers who have bought
our cattle praise their carcass qualities.
